Warm, reliable support helping seniors stay safe, comfortable, and connected — right at home, in whichever language feels most like home.
Our caregivers are patient, dependable, and genuinely present — many of them bilingual in English and Spanish, so language is never a barrier to being truly understood.
A free consultation to get to know your loved one — their routines, preferences, and what matters most — so we build a plan around the person.
Wherever possible, your loved one sees the same familiar, trusted face every visit — someone who learns their routines over time.
We can typically start within a few days, with regular updates that keep family members informed every step of the way.
Transportation is handled by driving the client's own car, or via Uber/taxi with the fare passed through at cost.
9 hours per week, scheduled in minimum 3-hour visits. A comfortable starting point for seniors who want dependable, regular help.
Additional hours per week beyond the 9-hour minimum, scheduled in minimum 3-hour visits. For seniors who benefit from more frequent, consistent support.
Customized around individual needs, combining companionship with Concierge and other add-ons — for comprehensive, ongoing support.
For families who want a little more than day-to-day support, our Concierge service brings that same patient, present caregiving to life's special moments. Whether it's managing a calendar and coordinating appointments, being the companion presence at a doctor's visit or a night at the theatre, or styling an at-home gathering down to the last detail — flowers, table settings, the whole atmosphere — it's handled by someone your loved one already knows and trusts. Offered bilingually, with a free consultation to start.
From an intimate birthday to a luxurious, beautifully appointed English-style high tea — fine china, delicate linens, and a table set with real elegance — every occasion is styled to feel like a proper celebration.
We're Miriam Vidals-Fournier and Juan Fournier, the founders of Vidals Golden Years Care.
We started this business because we believe support for seniors should feel personal — shaped around the person, not a checklist of tasks.
Juan has always been the kind of person others open up to easily: naturally warm, friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring, quick to notice what someone needs before they say it out loud. He also holds a Class 1 driver's license and has hands-on handyman skills, so whether it's getting someone safely to where they need to be or fixing the small things around the house that pile up, he's someone families can rely on for the practical side of care too.
Miriam spent 16 years in financial services, always focused on helping and advising the people she worked with. In her last six years as a Financial Advisor, she managed a portfolio of over 224 clients — many of them seniors — and built genuine relationships along the way, often helping in ways that went well beyond what the job required: checking in, listening, being someone they could count on.
Our own Latin roots trace back to Mexico, which is part of why we're proud to offer bilingual care in English and Spanish. We welcome families from all backgrounds, and we know firsthand how much it means to feel truly understood in your own language, especially later in life.
Vidals Golden Years Care grew out of those two things coming together: Juan's natural gift for making people feel cared for, and Miriam's years of earning the trust of seniors. Caring for people, at every stage of life, is simply what we do.
We'd love to meet you and your family.

We built our team around that same spirit — people who are patient, dependable, and genuinely present.
Every caregiver on our team is Vulnerable Sector Screened and certified in Standard First Aid & CPR, so you can trust the person in your loved one's home from day one. Many of our caregivers are bilingual in English and Spanish, so language is never a barrier to feeling understood.
Beyond the credentials, we look for the things that can't be taught: warmth, patience, discretion, and a genuine gift for making someone feel cared for rather than managed. Our caregivers are comfortable with the everyday rhythms of senior life — meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, appointment accompaniment — and many bring additional training in dementia awareness and fall prevention, so they can respond with confidence, not just kindness.
Vidals Golden Years Care provides non-medical, everyday support so seniors can remain confident and comfortable in their own homes, with one trusted point of contact for whatever life brings.
Have a question or ready to get started? We're happy to talk things through and help you find the right level of support — no pressure, no obligation.
